Working in conjunction with the Kansas Food Bank Warehouse in Wichita, KS, the Bread of Life food pantry is a local outreach ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church, and exists to provide food and spiritual help for citizens of Seward County and the surrounding area.

On January 27, 2007, the pantry finished five years of ministry.  190 families were ministered to that day with six people making professions of faith in Christ.

Low income families, single mothers, the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed, and the homeless are just a few of those who benefit from the efforts of the more than 50 volunteers who gather every fourth Saturday of the month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

Every effort is made to distribute enough food per family to prepare three well-balanced meals for three days.  The food items collected by the Kansas Food Bank Warehouse and distributed through the Bread of Life food pantry consist of edible manufacturer overruns, test product cancellations, and products nearing the end of their shelf life.

In addition to receiving food, visitors to the food pantry are prayed with, counseled, and presented the plan of salvation by trained ministry leaders.
