Children are important at Fellowship Baptist Church. Jesus loved the children, and so do we. We put a lot of time and effort into providing them with a high-energy, fun-filled, Bible-based ministry. We feel our children’s ministries are some of the best you will find anywhere.
From toddler age to the sixth grade, every child who comes, whether they ride one of our buses or attend with their family, is given the time and effort necessary to make them feel special, and to help them become the person God created them to be.
Our goal is to provide an exciting and safe environment that combines faith with fun. We also strive to ensure that every child learns the Good News of Jesus Christ and how they can receive him as their Savior.
Throughout the year, children are provided with many opportunities to be involved in activities and events which include: special days and promotions, an Easter egg hunt, The Awesome Overnight, Vacation Bible School and others.
Below is a brief description of the different children’s ministries you’ll find at Fellowship Baptist.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have age-specific and graded Sunday School classes from the nurseries through the sixth grade. Each class is taught by our caring and trained teachers.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
There are three separate children’s churches - Beginners (kindergarten and down), Primaries (1st - 3rd grade), and Juniors (4th - 6th grade). In addition to enjoying a variety of games, songs and activities, each child is diligently taught the Word of God.
KIDS FOR CHRIST CLUB
The KFC Club is designed to help children learn more about the Bible and to train them to live out their Christian faith in every day life. KFC is an awards based ministry where children are encouraged to memorize scripture and reach new levels within the club. The Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 throughout the school year.
BUS MINISTRY
The bus ministry is a vital part of the children’s ministry of FBC. We have four routes that pick up children within Liberal and the surrounding areas. The purpose and goal of this ministry is to reach unchurched children and families who might not otherwise come by providing free transportation to our services.
