TYLER & JENILEE PRATER
Tyler and Jenilee Prater both grew up in the ministry. Tyler was born in Liberal and raised in Fellowship Baptist Church. Jenilee was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas where her father pastored Bethany Baptist Church.
Tyler and Jenilee were both saved as teenagers, and shortly thereafter, answered God’s call to full-time ministry. They met while attending Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City. Both Tyler and Jenilee had the privilege of traveling throughout the United States and Canada, singing and representing HBBC. Tyler traveled with the Glorybound Quartet, and Jenilee traveled with WITNESS!
Following their graduation from HBBC, Tyler and Jenilee were married in June of 2006. In July of 2006, they joined the ministry staff of FBC. Tyler serves as the Music Director and Youth Pastor. In addition to serving alongside her husband in the music and youth ministries, Jenilee also serves as the church secretary. Their heart for ministry is very evident in all they do, and the Lord is using them to enhance the music ministry and impact the next generation for His glory.
In addition to his ministry at Fellowship Baptist, Tyler also serves on the board of directors of LEAD (Leadership Enrichment and Development). He also facilitates leadership training sessions for various city and county entities, the local school district, and various other professional organizations.
In her spare time, Jenilee enjoys reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her husband.
Tyler enjoys athletic activities of all types, including racquetball, basketball, and golf. He also enjoys hunting.
