Pastor Bill Prater started attending FBC as a teenager when a friend from school invited him to the ride the bus to church. After a couple months of attending services and youth activities, he accepted Christ as his Savior and soon followed God's call into full-time ministry.
After graduating from Bible college, Pastor Prater joined the staff at Fellowship, where he served under Pastor L.K. Landis in many roles for 20 years, including music director, youth pastor, and associate pastor. In 2000, Pastor Prater was voted as the next Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church. Pastor and his wife, Katie, were married in 1981 and have 3 adult children-TJ, Tyler, and Tiffany-who love and serve the Lord with their families.
